Ramps

• Venice Marine Max / Higel Park area ramps — Inlet access. The pass gets standing waves on an outgoing tide against a west wind.
• Indian Mound Park (Lemon Bay) — Sheltered kayak and skiff water south of town.

Kayak & small craft

• Lemon Bay paddling — Redfish and snook in the mangroves without fighting the inlet.

• Venice Inlet is short and mean. If the tide and wind oppose, stay in Lemon Bay.
